Matte Black

A little matte spray paint, a little glue, and a little crisp white cardstock added to puzzle pieces (love), and I have a few new items to add to my shop.

This time I made similar cards in big and small. Hope you like.

Wallpaper Roundup

My obsession with wallpaper continues:

Come payday, I plan to spend my paycheck on wallpaper samples from Hygge and West (only $5!). They also sell wallpaper by the yard, which is so nice. I'm imagining framed swatches on my walls. Wouldn't it be a great way to add color and pattern to stark white apartment walls?

Images from Hygge and West are, from the top, Nethercote, Feather, Ribbed, and Daydream. I must possess them.

Welcome home, little brother

Sorry for the delay, my friends. My computer and camera weren't agreeing, so my post was a little slowed down. Thanks for your patience.

My little brother is coming home after living in New Jersey for two years. I'd gush about how excited I am to see him again, or go on about what a great person he is (I am, and he is), but let's get down to business.

Jeff asked for very little from home while he was gone, but he did ask me to make a birthday calendar for him. This is the perpetual calendar that I came up with.

In celebration of his return, I'm sharing this calendar with you. If you'd like some help keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries, and other annual events, just click right here, save the pdf to your computer, print it, cut each page in half, and bind them all together.

Sarah: Coming up

If everything goes according to plan, I'll be posting a little present for you later today or tomorrow morning. It's in honor of a loved one coming home. Stay tuned.

Wilkintie

You guys. I need, NEED to subscribe to Wilkintie (via Loobylu).

It's a lot of cash to put down upfront, but then you'd get a different letterpress print each month for a year. When you divide it by twelve, each print is only $40. At the end of the year, you'd have original prints by twelve different artists. That'd be pretty cool.
